Based in Burton on Trent, SPL Photography captures weddings and other special occasions in and around the Midlands. Owner and photographer Steve has more than 20 years of experience as a wedding photographer. He began running his photography business in Kent and then moved to Gibraltar more than eight years ago, and has now returned to the UK. He now documents weddings, throughout Staffordshire and the surrounding areas.

SPL Photography works in a mixture of documentary-style and formal posed pictures. Steve likes to tell the narrative of your day through candid shots as well as those beautiful, traditional ones. He will focus not only on the people who make your day extraordinary, but on details such as the dress, shoes and centrepieces. Steve thinks it is important to get to know you and your partner ahead of time, and will take the time to understand your love story. He will then spend anywhere from six to eight days processing your images and ensuring they are perfect.
